Our story began in college at Wig & Pen Pizza Pub in Iowa City, where Katie was waiting tables and Joe was crafting the perfect pies. What started as casual small talk between orders soon turned into something deeper. From stealing moments during the quiet lulls to trading jokes through the order window, a simple work relationship blossomed into something much more. A few years later, we took the next big step and moved into our first apartment together in Des Moines. Eventually, we found our home in Norwalk, where we’ve settled in with our two dogs, Lila and Phoebe, and started building a life full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. From working side by side in the kitchen to creating a home together, every step of our journey has felt like a perfect match. And now, as we prepare to say "I do," we’re excited to continue this beautiful adventure, hand in hand, ready to write the next chapter of our love story.
