Jeff and I, both at separate times of spring 2020, had been told by our friends, Vilius and Anna, that they had found the perfect person for us. Of course as most people react to comments like that about a complete stranger, living in separate states no less, we laughed it off while at the same time being open to the idea. A couple months later Jeff was in town visiting his sister and brother-in-law, (Kacie and Ethan), and I get a text from Vilius saying to cancel all plans that Saturday because I had to meet this guy. Jeff and I hit it off right from the start and we both knew that this was going to be a lot more than either one of us could have imagined. From that night on we hung out almost every day for the rest of the summer falling totally in love with one another.

Jeff and I went out to our usual weekend date spot, Disney Springs and walked up to the top of Paddle Fish to where we take our routine self-timer picture. I was totally oblivious to any proposal since this was our usual routine and Jeff was doing such a great job of acting as though it was just another great date night. As soon as we stopped to look at the view I knew something was going on. Jeff turned and took both my hands and began to tell me about how he wanted to marry me and proceeded to get down on one knee to ask me to be his wife. Of course, I screamed "yes"!! Our awesome friends, Maddi and Chris were there to document the whole thing. Now we are getting married! We can't wait to say, "I Do" and have you be a part of our special day!
