Wedding Party

Thalia Henderson

Maid of Honor

Thalia and I met at Niguel Hills Middle School and she has been my best friend since. She showed me what it is like to have a true best friend who always had my back, stood up for me, and knew what I needed, often before I did, like a true sister. She has supported me through every life event whether proofreading my essays, battling my health, or guiding me through my major life decisions. She is an insane athlete, while she runs mountains for fun, I walk them. We have summitted Mt Whitney and many surrounding mountains I never would have thought to climb without her. In High School, Thalia would ask me what she needed to know the night before every AP exam, then would still get a better grade then me. She is the most brilliant person I know, and I thank her for using her wisdom and insights to help me throughout the many transitions in my life.

Katie Stahl

Matron of Honor

Katie (Ebson) and I meet at Cal Poly through her now husband Kai. Katie was the best friend I had always dreamt of having in college. I often struggled to keep up with girl drama, and she made me realize that girls can be drama-free and may even offer more support then my guy friends! We immediately decided to live together, knocked on doors of random college kids in our town, found amazing roommates, and launched one heck of a college experience! I learned she was an stunning athlete and convinced her to start a women's sailing team with me at Cal Poly where we raced up and down the California coast. We have vivid memories of scaling cliffs in Catalina, night lobster diving, foiling, free diving the Channel Islands, wake surfing, and routinely surfing the central coast. She taught me how to skateboard and do acro-yoga, and continues to amazes me with her brilliance as an architectural engineer and event/wedding planner on the side.

Shelsie Moore

Matron of Honor

Shelsie and I met at Cal Poly through our horses, who actually met each other first. I was struggling with some significant health issues when we met and she went above and beyond to take amazing care of me! She was the most compassionate friend who would pick me up, drive me to riding and make me dinner on a regular basis. Her incredible, now husband, and their best friends welcomed me like family! We enjoyed countless movie nights, concerts, and beach rides with the horses, making breakfast burritos, and going out downtown. Shelsie is a rock! She goes above and beyond to help me with anything and everything that I ever need and I couldn't have imagined going through some of my hardest years without her!

Robin Hasson

Bridesmaid

Robin is my future sister-in-law, so I thank Jeff for our introduction. I am so lucky to have such a loving, social, and fun future sister in my life! Robin is always up for the crazy activities Jeff and I propose whether it is skiing, sailing, or meeting in a new random place. Robin is a gifted elementary school teacher which puts her in the true Saint category. Despite being in LA we manage to find plenty of opportunities to meet up in fun places and she is always willing to make the trip to Orange County for all of our house parties and socials. I am beyond excited for our many future adventures that lie ahead and so grateful to have her in my life!

Emma Belson

Bridesmaid

Emma (Bemma) is my cousin, so we have known each other since birth. We grew up going on adventures with our grandparents, sailing to Catalina, hiking, running (a lot), trick-or-treating, pumpkin carving to Monster Mash, and making gingerbread houses to name just a few traditions. She is a brilliant Athletic trainer who cures my various injuries, and has supported me throughout my life since day one! Emma is the person who I can call with any life crisis, and she will solve it with her wise counsel. I could not be luckier to have been born into a family with her for a cousin and best friend!

Hanna To Be Tyner

Bridesmaid

Hanna and I met at Chapman University PA school and immediately bonded over our passion for skiing, snowboarding, surfing, and extreme sports. We have skied and surfed in the same day, summited Half Dome, and surfed Mexico! Despite Hanna moving back to Oregon, she visits all the time and is the person I can call to vent to on a regular basis. She is the life of the party, has contagious positive energy, is a brilliant Spine PA, and shreds a snowboard. Our favorite activity together is eating Bear Flag burritos at the beach and catching up on life.

Erika Hollywood

Bridesmaid

Erika and I met through Hanna! We were hiking in Palm Springs when Erika asked if anyone wanted to go to Peru for a month and do the Machu Picchu Trek. Thinking it was a long shot since this was our first time meeting, I said absolutely! We spent a month exploring the Amazon Rainforest, surfing, and trekking through unbelievable terrain to glaciers. She has been a best friend since! Erika is now an Emergency Medicine Resident at UCLA/Harbor, absolutely killing it and still managing to cram all of our crazy activities in between. You can find us surfing in Mexico, snowboarding in Mammoth, sitting on the couch drinking coffee in the pouring rain, or hiking a tall mountain.

Nic Amodio

Best Man

Met the Italian Stallion as a freshman water polo player at Agoura High School. From trips to Malibu's Neptune Net during last period to racing down Thunder Road in his Ford F150 vs my Acura RSX illuminated with red glow, he has been there for me through my best and my worst. Despite retiring the Speedos, he remains one of my closest friends and confidants for nearly 23 years later.

Yousif Ahmed

Groomsman

He didn't get the nickname "Magic Fingers" by our co fellow Grant Kim (also in the groom's party) for no reason; he is one of the most skilled interventional cardiologists I know with his hands, brain and wit.

David Anderson

Groomsman

Part of the three-finger quarterback lick society, David guided me through our three years at UC San Francisco for residency as we battled everything from difficult cases to bad dates.

Alan Baik

Groomsman

Voted the Most Likely to Win the Nobel Peace Prize (by me), Alan continues to visit me long after our time together as co residents at UCSF where we shared an apartment and many karaoke nights together.

David Cornella

Groomsman

A True Renaissance Man: Skier, snowboarder, big wave surfer, mountain biker, Googler, to be brother-in-law, and officiant of the annual Mammoth Mountain Mario Kart Balloon Challenge.

Billy Kern

Groomsman

Since the days of Phi Kappa Psi at USC, Billy has been there, leading me into some of my best and some of less than best decisions.

Grant Kim

Groomsman

Whether driving past his billboard in Dalton, Georgia or meeting him face to face, Grant leaves an impression on everyone he meets. He served as a remarkable co-fellow during my interventional cardiology year at Cedars-Sinai.

Bambi

Spirit Animal

For all the days along the way
