Belhurst castle was built in 1885 and holds 11 guestrooms, each decorated with antique furnishings and named after a piece of Belhurst history. The castle contains a complimentary wine spigot for guests to enjoy at any time!
Belhurst contains 2 restaurants- the formal Edgar's Restaurant, and the casual Stonecutters Tavern. Complimentary breakfast is served at Edgar's Restaurant for hotel guests.
Belhurst was run as a speakeasy in the 1930s and to this day you can grab a drink at the speakeasy! The pocket door is located across from Edgar's Restaurant.
Belhurst makes their own wine, craft beer, and hard cider. Complimentary tastings are available for hotel guests- we recommend sampling their cheese and chocolate pairings as well!
Isabella Spa & Salon offers a variety of treatments: https://www.belhurst.com/spa-salon/ Hair and makeup can also be done here before the wedding!
In 1996, after Katie's 1st birthday, she stayed with her grandparents in Ithaca while Mary Jo and Dave celebrated their anniversary at Belhurst Castle. Also, Mary Jo's cousin Kevin proposed to his wife Allie at Belhurst!
