We’re getting married!

We met through the online dating site Plenty of Fish! After a few weeks of texting, we decided to meet. We had our first date at Red Robin then watched the Ghostbusters remake at a movie theatre. The movie might not have been great, but the date was!

Jarid proposed on our five year dating anniversary while we were on vacation at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando. We finished having an after dinner drink and decided to take a walk around the resort's atrium. It was just before midnight when we walked to the top of the Castillo de San Marcos fort replica where Jarid got on one knee and proposed!

August 13 is such a special day for us! It is the day we first met, the day we got engaged, and so it only makes sense that it also be the day we get married!
