The Venue

Answer

Klausmeyer Dairy Farm and Pumpkin Patch is just south of Maize, KS. It happens to be the very place Jared proposed to Katie, out in the beautiful field at sunset, making this location very special to us. It's more than just a venue! Everything north of where the reception will take place doubles as a working farm, so we ask that guests please keep to the south of the venue. It is a little further out in the country with corn fields, flowers, and agriculture. Here is your warning to take some allergy meds beforehand if you need! Upon arrival, after parking, you will see an orange brick house. We ask that you kindly make your way south of the house to the white round-top barn, where the ceremony will be set up outside south of the barn. See you there!

Dress Attire?

Answer

Dress attire is casual! Anything goes from sundresses and sandals to jeans and nice tees. As this is an outdoor ceremony, please plan for grass and gravel. Our wedding colors are dusty blues, cream, and gold, with a touch of wildflowers!

Parking?

Answer

There is a large dirt parking lot on the east of Klausmeyer across the street. Please plan for a short little walk from the parking lot to the round-top barn.

Hotels/Lodging

Answer

After party at the casino! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn 17 miles east of the venue. (Kansas Star Casino Hotel) Please either call 316-524-3777 and reference group code “HHW” or Hill-Hendrix Wedding for the dates needed until the cutoff date of 7.17.2026 at midnight to ensure the discounted rate. Cocktail Hour

Answer

We invite everyone to socialize after the ceremony! There is a large playground for kids to play and an OPEN bar for the adults! The venue provides lawn games for everyone to have fun with throughout the night!

Outdoor Games and Playground

Answer

The venue has a large playground, zip-line, and ground bubble for children and guest to use. The bride and groom please ask that children are supervised at all times while enjoying the equipment.
