Do you have a registry?

Answer

We do not have a registry, as Jamie and I have lived together for awhile now we don't have much we want nor need. We hope to save up money for a honeymoon come early 2024 as well as save for a new home so if you would like to donate to that you are welcome to, but otherwise your lovely company is gift enough :)

Where is it?

Answer

The wedding is located in Bottrel, AB roughly 25 minutes North of Cochrane on Katie's families property. The easiest way to get there is googling the Dartique Hall and following the directions to there. Beside the Dartique Hall is a gravel road going east, follow that to the end and then turn right over the texas gate. Follow that to the wedding, we will have signs helping to direct from the Dartique Hall.

Will there be opportunity to bring my trailer/tent prior to the day of the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will be setting up all week out at the property leading up to the Saturday, closer to the wedding I will update the front page of this website with times we will be there to let people come and set up. Please let us know if you'd like to come set it up ahead of time and what time/day you will be coming based on the times we are there. The property will be locked up and we will be constantly in and out of there so your set up will be safe!

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

Yes, we will have a shuttle at the end of the evening going to the hotel in Cochrane as well as to the Tuscany train station. There will be set times for it leaving, and it is a 14 person bus so we request people plan accordingly.

What do I wear?

Answer

The most important part of what to wear is your footwear out there! We will be on uneven ground, PLEASE no heels! Otherwise we will be dressed up and hope you will be as well!

Will there be a late night snack/breakfast?

Answer

Late night snack - Yes. Breakfast on the Sunday - No. So if you are a big breakfast person and need to eat prior to packing up please bring a snack!

Can I bring my ATV/Dirt Bike/Side by Side/off-road vehicle/any dirt playing fun toys?

Answer

No unfortunately we want to do our best not to beat up the land we are on. We will have our quads/golf cart there if someone needs a shuttle to their trailer from the wedding area, but they aren't too far apart.

Can I have a campfire infront of my trailer?

Answer

No. We will have fires set up for people to sit around throughout the evening fire ban pending, but in order to practice fire safety and look after our area it will only be where we have them set up.

What is the closest hotel?

Answer

The closest hotel is the Days Inn & Suites in Cochrane roughly 25 min away. We will have some sober friends to offer emergency shuttles if needed, but if you are going to require it please let us know as we and we can arrange for a ride to Cochrane.

What is the bar situation?

Answer

We will be doing a toonie bar with drink tickets you can pay to trade in for drinks. For example put a 20 down and get 10 drink tickets, one ticket per drink. Our friend has agreed to bartend for us, and as many of you know Jamie and Katie met bartending, so please bring a bit extra for tipping the bartender as she works hard to keep everyone happy :)

Dogs

Answer

Unfortunately we do ask all guests to leave their dogs at home for the evening. We will have the family dogs there and don't want to risk any dog fights that may occur with new dogs meeting. Thank you for your understanding!
