As much as we love all of your kiddos, this is an adults only occasion

Neither of us expected that we were headed to the desert that warm 2017 spring weekend to meet our future spouse, but Hey! They say "the best comes when you least expect it!" Jake & I definitely resonate with that. (We were both people that truly believed we were going to be the 35-year old single friend in our individual friend groups haha). Our story begins at Stagecoach. I definitely wasn't expecting for a random guy to come out of nowhere, lean over and take a bite out of the watermelon I was eating, and then just WALK AWAY. My bestriend Macie and I looked at each other perplexed, then laughed it off. Were were just trying to enjoy the Tim McGraw concert on our picnic blanket that night. Needless to say, It didn't take long after that weekend for Jake and I to be attached at the hip (really only a few days) and then BAM...! It's 3 years later- Jake had moved south from HB to SD and we were raising our now, TODDLER?!?! They say it goes fast, but holy-heck! Nash has been the biggest blessing to our lives. He has taught Jake and I to love deeper, allowed our hearts soften, and to be more playful and fun. But most of all, he taught us that life just isn't about 'us.' Children are the perfect testimony of that. Our story didn't happen the way either of us planned... But our history has become God's story and we are here together today.. because of His gace. We have grown so much over these last 3.5 years. We believe that because of the hard seasons we have experienced in just a few short years, we are better equipped to begin this new season in marriage. We are thankful for each and every one of you and cannot WAIT to celebrate soon! You all have played a special role in our lives and we feel so encouraged, loved and grateful for such a large and amazing circle of family and friends. LET'S GET HITCHED!!!
