Isaiah is a veteran who served six years in the military, stationed in both New Mexico and the Middle East. During a low season while deployed, Isaiah gave his life to Jesus, attended a young adults’ Bible study, and received encouragement from family that helped him grow in his faith. Isaiah is known for his kindness, humility, and steady strength. He’s deeply loyal, quick to encourage others, and leads with quiet confidence rooted in his relationship with God. This fall, he will begin studying at the University of Nebraska at Kearney with plans to pursue a career in optometry. Katie is incredibly proud of the man Isaiah is and the heart he has for the Lord, for his family, and for others. She is so thankful for the love and open embrace he has shown to her and her two children. She can’t wait to call him her husband and Mia and Lia's dad.

Katie is a proud mom to two sweet toddlers and is currently finishing her degree in computer programming. She works from home, balancing code, toddler chaos, and motherhood with grace and determination. In a season of brokenness, Katie encountered the love of Jesus in a life-changing way. Since then, her faith has been the foundation of everything she does—guiding how she parents, works, and loves others with intention and joy. Katie plans to finish her degree and continue her career in software development after graduation, using her drive and love for the Lord to continue increasing her skills in both work and her family life. She’s known for her honesty, compassion, and strength. Isaiah feels incredibly blessed to be marrying such a faithful, resilient, and loving woman, and he’s honored to call her his wife.

Doug is Isaiah’s dad and one of his biggest role models. As a devoted husband and father of five, Doug has shown what it means to lead a family with strength, humility, and a deep love for the Lord. His example has shaped Isaiah in countless ways—teaching him how to protect, provide, and pursue God in every season of life. Isaiah is honored to have his dad stand beside him on this special day.
Keziah

Keziah and Katie met at church only a year ago, but they feel like they have known each other forever! Many late-night kitchen chats and all-day hangouts have contributed to their close relationship. Keziah is Katie's go-to person for laughs, late-night talks, and encouragement. Katie is honored to have Keziah by her side for this special day.

Isaiah and Graham met through church in New Mexico, and Graham quickly became Isaiah’s first true brother in Christ after his move. Their friendship deepened through time spent in the gym, serving in the military, and most importantly, growing together in their faith. Graham even opened his home to Isaiah when he needed a place to stay—an act that speaks volumes about his character. Their bond runs deep, and Isaiah is grateful to have Graham standing with him on this special day.

Krissy is Katie’s younger sister. Katie and Krissy are just twelve months apart. They’ve always been close, growing up more like best friends than siblings. Years of sharing rooms, friends, outfits, and birthday parties have brought them countless memories. Katie and Krissy have been by each other's sides through every season of life. Having Krissy by her side on this special day is a reflection of that lifelong connection, and Katie is truly grateful to have her sister by her side through this season, too.

Reubens and Isaiah met through a young adults' Bible study in New Mexico. Their relationship has been built on mutual trust and support through late-night conversations as they confide in each other and constantly encourage one another to get closer to God. Reubens even attended Isaiah's family reunion this year, which is fitting because he has become like family, and Isaiah is honored to have him as part of this day.

Lydia is Isaiah’s sister and one of the biggest supporters of Isaiah and Katie’s relationship. From the very beginning, she’s cheered them on with genuine love and encouragement. Katie feels incredibly blessed to not only be gaining Lydia as a sister, but also to have her standing by her side on such a meaningful day. Her kindness, joy, and support have meant so much throughout this journey.

Matthew was one of the first people to reach out to Isaiah after his move to New Mexico, inviting him to a young adults’ Bible study that would become a turning point in Isaiah’s life. From early on, Matthew created a safe space for real conversations and was one of the first people Isaiah opened up to about his past. Through prayer, encouragement, and unwavering support, Matthew has walked alongside Isaiah, always cheering him on and celebrating the good in his life. Isaiah is deeply thankful for his friendship and honored to have him as part of the wedding day.

Emma is Katie’s younger sister. Over the last few years, their relationship has grown into one of deep friendship and trust. Emma has been a steady source of joy and wisdom in Katie's life. She has the beautiful gift of showing up at just the right time—offering a prayer, a hug, or a quiet word of truth when it’s needed most. Katie is incredibly grateful for the way their relationship has blossomed and is so honored to have her sister by her side on this special day. And here’s a fun fact: Emma is the reason Katie and Isaiah met! Her quiet matchmaking played a role in the love story that’s being celebrated today.

Thomas and Isaiah met during Isaiah’s second deployment to the Middle East, and in just over a year, their bond has grown into a deep friendship, more like brotherhood. From sharing workouts to praying for one another and encouraging one another in their faith, Thomas has been a constant source of strength. During a season when Isaiah was broken and wholeheartedly seeking Jesus, Thomas walked alongside him and offered the kind of encouragement that left a lasting impact.

Shelby and Katie met in high school and their bond was instant. Over the years, Shelby has been one of Katie’s most loyal and trusted friends. Through some of the hardest seasons in Katie’s life, Shelby has been a steady presence—a shoulder to cry on, a voice of encouragement, and someone who never gave up on their friendship. Katie is so grateful for her unwavering support and couldn’t imagine this day without Shelby by her side. Fun fact: Katie continually takes credit for setting up Shelby and her fiancé, Blake.

Jeremy and Isaiah met through work in New Mexico and quickly formed a strong bond—especially while preparing for Isaiah’s first deployment. Since then, they’ve shared two deployments, countless gym sessions, and years of friendship built on loyalty and shared experience. Jeremy and his family have walked with Isaiah through both the highs and lows, opening their home during holidays and treating him like one of their own. Isaiah is honored to be known as “Uncle Petty” in their family and deeply grateful for the friendship and support Jeremy has shown over the years.
Taegan

Taegan and Katie have been friends since Kindergarten, making theirs the longest-standing friendship for both of them! Despite distance and the passing of time, their bond has remained strong. Taegan has walked with Katie through some of the hardest seasons, praying faithfully and offering constant support. She was there with open ears during difficult moments and continued to pray for Katie to find a Godly husband, and the Lord answered. Katie is incredibly thankful for Taegan’s friendship and can’t imagine this day without her.

Though they were never stationed at the same base, their friendship remained strong through regular conversations, gaming sessions, and meaningful talks. Over the years, they’ve watched each other grow and navigate different seasons, and Isaiah even had the chance to visit Hunter in Las Vegas. Their connection has stayed steady across the miles, and Isaiah is incredibly grateful for the encouragement, loyalty, and friendship Hunter has brought into his life. He’s honored to have him standing by his side on this special day.

Heather and Katie met through church during Katie’s time in Houston—a season when she didn’t expect to make new friends. But from the moment they met, their connection was instant. Late-night talks, shared pints of ice cream, and plenty of laughter turned their friendship into something truly special. Heather has been a light in Katie’s life, offering joy, comfort, and encouragement when it was needed most. Saying goodbye when Katie moved back to Nebraska wasn’t easy, which makes having Heather by her side on this day even more meaningful.

Mia is Katie's oldest daughter. She will be four on October 14th! She is full of determination, energy, and strength. She is excited about wearing a pretty dress to the wedding to be a "wedding girl". Most likely to dance all night.

Lia is Katie's youngest daughter. She is two years old. She is full of snuggles and love. If you can get her to smile or laugh, it will light up your life! She looks up to her big sister's example and is likely to be right by Mia's side.
