Katie and Harrison met at SMU while both pursuing their Masters in Business Analytics. One day after class, Harrison patiently waited while Katie had a lengthly discussion with the professor (as most of you know how Katie is...). After what seemed like forever, Harrison came up with a question about the class to approach Katie with. Their long conversation ended with a plan to work on a class assignment later that day. The following evening, they had their first date at Mi Cocina. The rest was history. Since then, very few nights have ever been spent apart. Covid ended up shutting down the campus shortly after, so fate clearly played its hand. Within one week they were already dating and visiting each other's families. The spark was always there and they were truly love at first sight.
