We’re tying the knot!

Our story begins in 2011 back while I was a nursing student and Hank worked for the city. I had noticed Hank when he would come into the Cellar on Fridays after work with some of his Public Works friends. Each week when he was there, I’d try to spark up some conversation. Hank was the quiet, handsome, mysterious type 😊 He told me that it took him a few weeks to realize that I was very interested! After weeks or months of casual conversation at the Cellar, I made my move when I saw him at the Rod and Reel one night. The rest is history! After that night we talked nearly everyday for months. Our first official date was at PF Changs, where Hank’s friend Dave (Hanks Best Man) worked. Hank later introduced me to so many more wonderful people and his best friends quickly became my best friends. Later that summer we made it “official” as boyfriend and girlfriend. As the years passed by, came so many more wonderful memories. We’ve lived together in two different apartments. In 2014 we bought our current home. During this time we lived with the Worthingtons, who also spent countless hours helping us make our house a home. We adopted a cat named Pete. I graduated nursing school and Hank became a firefighter. We’ve been so lucky to travel all over the world together — Mexico, Ireland, Austria, Germany, Spain, the Canary Islands, Dominican Republic and Jordan! In June of 2018, Hank planned for us a quick trip to Hollywood, Florida. Here we partied, roasted in the hot Florida sun, ate delicious food, and stayed up til the morning hours dancing with our new Cuban friends. On our last night, we drank a bottle of champagne on the beach. That is where Hank popped the question and we were engaged! Now after nine wild years together, we’ll make it “official” again! On August 8th, 2020 we’ll tie the knot! We cannot wait to celebrate this amazing day with all of our family and friends ❤️
