Our story really begins before residency. We went to the same medical school and Katie was a faithful class goer while Haider was the opposite. During our clinical years we shared a few rotations and got acquainted. In 2017 we matched into the same Family Medicine residency program and sparks flew.

While isolating at home on New Years Eve 2020, we were video chatting with both of our families. At 10:24pm Haider got on one knee and popped the question. With our parents as virtual witnesses, our lives were forever linked!
