Question

/// Wedding Preparation ///

Answer

Here are the answers to the travel logistics and RSVP planning.

Question

I'm flying, what do I need to consider?

Answer

We’re so excited that you’re planning to join us! Here are a few helpful tips if you’re flying in: Airport: The best airport to fly into is Indianapolis International Airport (IND), located just a short drive from downtown Indianapolis. Transportation: You won’t need a rental car! Everything for the wedding weekend is happening at the InterContinental Indianapolis and nearby downtown locations. We recommend using Uber or Lyft to get to and from the airport and any other destinations in the city.

Question

I'm driving, what do I need to consider?

Answer

We’re so glad you’re planning to join us! Here’s what you need to know if you’re driving to the wedding: Parking Details: The hotel offers parking options, and there are nearby garages in downtown Indianapolis if needed. (see Logistics section) Hotel Location: All wedding events will take place at the InterContinental Indianapolis, located in the heart of downtown Indy. Staying here will make your experience convenient and stress-free!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve reserved a room block at the InterContinental Indianapolis, where all wedding events will take place. Staying here not only makes your trip seamless but also keeps everyone together, adding to the fun and atmosphere of the weekend. We’d love to have our favorite people in one place to make the most of every moment—planned or spontaneous! Be sure to book your room using the link provided on our website to secure the discounted rate. Rooms are limited, so we recommend booking early to guarantee your spot. (see the Logistics section)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will clearly state who is invited. If a guest is included, their name will be listed on the invitation. If it’s just your name, we kindly ask that you attend solo. Due to limited space, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those listed on the invitations. Thank you for understanding, and please let us know if you have any other questions!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We’re having an adults-only celebration, with the exception of Greg’s nieces and nephews. We appreciate you arranging care for your little ones and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Once you’ve submitted your RSVP, we kindly ask that you not change it, as we need accurate numbers swiftly to finalize our plans. The RSVP deadline is June 27, 2025, so please let us know your plans by then. We understand that unexpected things happen. If your circumstances change after the deadline or you need an extension, please don’t hesitate to ask, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Thank you for your understanding! (please RSVP through this website)

Question

/// Wedding Day Details ///

Answer

Everything you need to know while enjoying the wedding weekend.

Question

Are the events inside?

Answer

Yes, all events—including the ceremony and reception—will take place indoors at the InterContinental Indianapolis. No need to worry about the weather!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

This is an indoor event, and the dress code is cocktail attire. We kindly ask that you refrain from wearing white, ivory, or cream—those are reserved for the bride. We’d also love to invite you to join our “Something Blue Crew”! By saying yes, the only requirement is to wear something blue to the wedding. This could be a dress, tie, shirt, bracelet, necklace, ring—anything you like! Participation is completely optional, but we’d love to have you join in the fun.

Question

The reception is New Orleans/Cocktail style, what does that mean?

Answer

A New Orleans-style cocktail reception means there won’t be assigned seats or formal plated dinners—it’s all about movement, mingling, and fun. Picture delicious bite-sized eats, flowing drinks, and lively vibes that encourage everyone to mix, mingle, and maybe even hit the dance floor a little early. Get ready to float between food stations, strike up conversations with friends old and new, and keep the energy high all night long. So, slip into those dancing shoes and prepare for a night that’s more “let the good times roll” than “sit and stay awhile!”

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We’ve hired a wonderful photographer, Reagan, to capture every special moment, and we want everyone to be fully present with us. Don’t worry—you’ll get to see all the beautiful photos afterward!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

You’ll find our registry on the wedding website! Instead of traditional household gifts, we’re asking for contributions to our honeymoon fund and house down payment fund. We’re so grateful for your generosity in helping us start this exciting new chapter together. Whether it’s creating unforgettable memories on our honeymoon or building the foundation of our future home, your gift means the world to us. Thank you for celebrating with us in such a meaningful way! (see Registry section)

Question

I have free time, what should I do?

Answer

Check out the Explore Indy section of our website for great recommendations on restaurants, attractions, and more!
