Every year for our anniversary we plan to go away and do some sightseeing. For our 10-year anniversary, it was Rome. We'd planned a full on first day around ancient Rome and Jo kept saying he wanted to go up onto the viewing platform in front of the Colosseum. I told him "LATER after the Roman Forum". We finally went and he started to whisper he'd always wanted to propose in Rome, his country and in front of an ancient monument. He went shy and didn't want to make a scene, but he FINALLY popped the question "Will you be my wife?" and secretly whipped out the most beautiful ring. Of course I said "YES!" and now WE'RE GETTING MARRIED! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. Get your dancing shoes ready!

Chaque année nous aimons partir visiter une ville pour notre anniversaire de couple. Pour notre 10e anniversaire, Rome était notre destination. Nous avions prévu une première journée pleine d'histoire et Jo insistait qu'il voulait monter sur la plateforme devant le Colisée. Je lui ai dit "PLUS TARD après avoir visité le forum romain". Nous y sommes enfin allés et il m'a dit dans l'oreille "J'ai toujours voulu faire une demande de mariage à Rome, dans mon pays, devant un monument ancien". Il est devenu tout timide et ne voulait pas attirer l'attention, mais ENFIN il m'a posée LA question "Veux-tu être ma femme?" et il a sorti une bague magnifique en cachette. J'ai dit "OUI bien sûr !" et maintenant NOUS ALLONS NOUS MARIER! Nous sommes tellement contents que vous soyez parmi nous pour célébrer ce grand évènement dans notre vie. Préparez vos passeports, c'est parti pour la fête à l'anglaise!

Ogni anno ci piace viaggiare per visitare una città per il nostro anniversario. Per il nostro decimo anniversario, Roma è stata la nostra destinazione. Era previsto una prima giornata piena di storia. Giuseppe insisteva affinché salissimo sulla piattaforma panoramica davanti al Colosseo. E gli ho risposto “andiamoci PIU TARDI dopo aver visitato il forum romano”. Alle fine ci siamo andati e mi sussurra all’orecchio “Ho sempre voluto fare la mia proposta di matrimonio a Roma, nel mio paese, davanti un monumento antico”. È diventato timido e non voleva attirare l’attenzione ma mi ha FINALMENTE fatto LA proposta “Vuoi sposarmi?” Tirò fuori un bellissimo anello di nascosto. Ho detto “SÌ! certo” e ora CI SPOSIAMO ! Siamo così felici che avervi con noi per festeggiare questo grande evento della nostra vita. Preparate i vostri passaporti, e si parte per la festa!
