Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you.

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

1 Schenley Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15213
, (412) 622-6914

Always a Pittsburgh favorite, we went here when Giel first came to town to meet the family.

Orbis Caffe

675 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228
, (412) 563-1220

The best coffee joint in Mt. Lebanon, and just around the corner from the SpringHill Suites and St. Bernard Church.

Pamela's P & G Diner | Mt. Lebanon

427 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228
, (412) 343-3344

A classic American diner with the best breakfast in town. Right across from St. Bernard Church, it's the perfect spot for Saturday morning lyonnaise potatoes.

Pittsburgh Pirates

115 Federal Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212
, (412) 321-2827

If you're in town on Thursday, the Pittsburgh Pirates are playing the Baltimore Orioles at PNC Park at 12:30.

The Andy Warhol Museum

117 Sandusky Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212
, (412) 237-8300

Katie often brags about being from the same city as Andy Warhol. A great museum for kiddos (we recommend goofing off in the photobooth).

Pittsburgh Popcorn Company

209 21st Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
, (412) 281-5200

The Strip District is a fun, delicious neighborhood in central Pittsburgh that offers everything from bootleg Steelers gear to artisanal chocolate. It's particularly busy (and thus, exciting) on Saturday morning. Start at Pittsburgh Popcorn Co. for a snack, and then take a stroll up and down 21st street.

Acacia

2108 East Carson Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203
, (412) 488-1800

One of many, many (many) fun bars on East Carson Street.

For all the days along the way
