Julia and Katie met during grad school at the University of Colorado. First they were anatomy partners and then the relationship blossomed after connecting on another level during a mud run. Every weekend was a "vacation" adventuring around Colorado and Denver. They helped one another survive PT school through laughter, singing, and dancing in study rooms. Julia is truly one of Katie's favorite things.

Kenzie is Gerod's sister and soon to be Katie's! She is in Vegas, but should be in Colorado. When she visits they enjoy hanging out climbing, biking, tubing and more. Katie is excited to create many more memories with her new sister.

Allie Braney

What started as a few runs to help Allie with an off-season race, quickly became a bond. Their running styles are similar and they meshed perfectly as training partners. Allie has become her unofficial little sister and one of Torrey's favorite sitters!

Rachel Meeks

Katie met Rachel through Allie. The 3 have become running buddies and then have expanded their friendship off the road. Rachel is simply the best with her caring personality and fun spirit! Katie appreciates how easy it is to simply hangout with Rachel and that she accepts her just as she is.

Maggie is Katie's sister-in-law. When Katie lived in VA, they were able to have fun with all of Maggie's sisters. Katie is grateful for the love Maggie has always showed her and how immediately she welcomed her into her family.
