Can I bring a Guest?
Answer
Invitations will be addressed to exactly everyone who is allowed to bring a guest! If you received a invitation with specific names on the envelope, those guests are allowed to come. If you received an invitation as a family, only members of that family will be counted for! When you receive a formal invitation, please RSVP online, and this will provide exact names of who will come!

Are children allowed?
Answer
This was a very difficult decision to make, but unfortunately the Ceremony & Reception will be an "Adult only" party! We love all of the little ones so much. However, this is a night out for you, and we want everyone to enjoy themselves to the fullest! So find your best babysitter, and come have a good time!

Will transportation be provided?
Answer
The ceremony and the reception will both be located at the same place with a cocktail hour in between! There will be a shuttle provided to and from the Hilton Garden Inn and possibly other hotels, from 9PM to 1AM! Cars can be left in the venue parking lot if needed over night!

At the venue, where can I park?
Answer
There is a large parking lot around the back of the loft on Black River PKWY! Anyone is allowed to park back there, and there should be more than enough room for everyone!

Can I take photos?
Answer
We have an AMAZING photographer. Her name is Erin, and she and her partner will be taking photos during the ceremony. With that being said, we ask you to PLEASE put away your phones and cameras for this portion of the wedding day. We want everyone to be totally in the moment with us. Once the ceremony is done, we encourage ALL of the photos to be taken! The only rule is you must send them to the bride and the groom!

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will begin right around 4PM, we encourage guests to show up any time between 3:30-3:45PM!

What if I have a dietary restriction?
Answer
If you have any kind of allergy/restriction to foods, please contact me and let me know! We have a great caterer who can work with us to provide an excellent meal for everyone!

How did Katie and Gavin meet?
Answer
Gavin and I met through my cousin and Gavin's friend Joe. Don't tell Gav, but I was crushing on him HARD and would often make jokes to Joe about how Gavin was my "future boyfriend". Once we met the rest was history.

How did Gavin "Pop the question"?
Answer
Gavin brought me on a walk though a popular Rochester park (Highland Park) that happened to be right by their house. Early morning on Saturday April 4th, , Gavin, Barley and I walked the trails through the parks' woods. He and Barley ran ahead playing, and behind some bushes. Once I rounded the corner, Gavin was down on one knee with Barley sitting next to him. He said, "Barley and I have a question for you." There were immediate tears streaming from my eyes. The rest of that weekend, Gavin planned dinners with friends and family celebrating the engagement!

We get this question a lot. Usually it's someone asking if family lives there. The real answer to the question is that we chose Watertown for the venue! We know you all will understand when you see the beautiful space we chose to spend this very special day at! It will truly take your breath away!
