TRAVEL There are regular flights to Palma, Mallorca from most UK airports. We’ve included travel and transfer recommendations below to help. The journey from Palma Airport takes around 45 minutes and costs approx. €75, so it’s worth sharing where possible. If you’re staying longer, hiring a car is a good option. ACCOMMODATION We’ve included some accommodation suggestions below, though there are lots of options on booking.com. We recommend groups book a villa together in Cala D’Or town, while couples or smaller parties may prefer hotels or apartments. Cala D’Or is easy to get around, with all key venues within a 10-minute walk. The most convenient areas are Cala D’Or town, Cala Petita Beach and Cala Gran. Cala Esmeralda, Es Forti, and Cala d’es Pou are also good options, around a 30-min walk or a short taxi or bike ride away. If you’re unsure about an area, feel free to send us the details and we’re happy to check! We recommend booking accommodation asap as it's peak season still.

There is a taxi rank at the airport, but if you’d prefer to book ahead, Cala d’Or Taxis are very reliable. You can contact Jesus directly on the number below to book: +34 636 01 90 28 Prices are roughly €75 each way for up to four people. Taxis at the airport rank are limited to four passengers, so we’d recommend booking ahead with Jesus if you’re travelling in a larger group - he has options for both smaller groups and larger parties, including vans.

We recommend Terry’s, as you can collect the car from the car park opposite the airport on arrival - no queues or paperwork. While they may be slightly more expensive than some budget options, their rates include full comprehensive insurance with no hidden extra costs. Other providers often involve longer queues and additional charges added on arrival.
