The Story of 2 High School Sweethearts

We met in high school and started dating February 27, 2018.

After graduation, we went off to opposite sides of the country to pursue our own paths while trying to make long distance work.

We constantly made time to fly and visit each other every few months while we were apart.

We got engaged April 4th, 2020.

Due to Cisco deploying soon, we got married shortly after our engagement at a courthouse in North Carolina on April 11, 2020.

February 6, 2021 Cisco got back from deployment and we finally ended almost 3 years of long distance as we moved in together for the first time in Fayetteville, NC.

April 21, 2021 we visited Arizona to see if we’d like to make it our forever home as Cisco’s active duty contract neared its end.

We took one last roadtrip on the east coast to Orlando, Florida before picking up our lives and moving across the country with our baby Loki.

After a year in Phoenix, we decided to set down some roots and closed on a house on October 28, 2022– now with Thor in the mix.

At some point Katie snuck Heimy in while Cisco was away for a weekend… so now we have a full house.

June 27, 2024 we took our first trip outside of the U.S. to Puerto Peñasco. We’ve now visited 10 American states and had so many other adventures together.

All these years later, we’re each other’s best friends and we could not be more excited to celebrate 5 years of marriage and renew our vows with all our closest friends and family around.
