Let's Eat, Drink, and Get Married!

In October of 2016, Katie went to Lee Farms to enjoy the day at the pumpkin patch with her friends. Evan was working for his buddy, giving hay rides at Lee Farms. Katie saw him driving the tractor in his dirty jeans and black Carhartt sweatshirt, with a toothpick in his mouth and was instantly smitten. She vividly remembers him driving off and her telling her friends, "there goes my future husband." In the end, she chickened out and was too nervous to even talk to him. She woke up the next morning still thinking about him and so on a whim she messaged Lee Farms saying thanks for the great time at the pumpkin patch and "oh by the way, your tractor driver is pretty easy on the eyes." Almost immediately after, Katie received a friend request from Evan on Facebook and said "so I'm pretty easy on the eyes huh?" She was so embarrassed, but he said that the owners were his friends and told him all about the message. Evan asked Katie out to dinner a few different times, but Katie hates dinner dates so would decline but continued to text him. Eventually he asked her to go on a date with him to Top Golf, and she agreed. On 10.26.2016, they went on their first date and it was the best first date. They stayed out until midnight so they could spend Katie's birthday together, and the rest is history from there! Every time I put on my acid wash Levi jeans, Evan reminds her that those were the jeans she was wearing on their first date. Lee Farms and Top Golf will always remain a nostalgic place for them to go and remember their early dating days together!
