Why was I not invited?

Answer

You all mean so much to us, and we truly wish we could have had everyone there. As we began planning a larger wedding, we both started to feel overwhelmed by all the details involved. On top of that, we quickly saw how expensive everything was becoming. At the end of the day, we realized that what mattered most to us was simply being married. Because of that, we chose to have a very simple and intimate wedding, and we would love to celebrate with people separately in a more personal and intimate way. Please know that you were absolutely on our list of people we would have loved to invite. Thank you so much for your understanding and support. You have all played such an important role in shaping who we are, and we appreciate you more than we can express.

Question

Why did you get married so fast?

Answer

We are very aware that we got married fast. However, as we thought about it more, we realized we simply wanted to be married and begin living the rest of our lives together. As we decided on a more intimate wedding, we also realized there wasn’t much reason to wait until summer as we had originally planned. We wanted to get married sooner so we could start living together, visit France in May to see his family, and have the summer to enjoy together rather than spend it planning a wedding.

What are you up to now?

Answer

Erwan is currently working at a MSP (IT Provider) as a project manager where he has been for almost 2 years. Katie is going to Sacramento State University where she will graduate with her bachelors in nursing in December. After, she is planning on working at a hospital in Sacramento in the emergency room. We just moved into our new apartment together in Rancho Cordova, California, and are settling into life very nicely. We attend Arcade Church where Erwan does sound.

Question

What are you looking forward to doing together?

Answer

Right now, we are very excited to start having people over at our new apartment. We are looking forward to playing more games together as we start to have more brain capacity for strategy games. We are also excited for this summer to go visit Erwan's family and friends in France. On top of this, we are looking forward to fun day trips and weekend trips, especially to the mountains and beach as the weather gets warmer.
