Eric and Katie met in the most romantic way, the sweaty atmosphere of Soccer City. Katie and Eric have played soccer against each other for years, but after playing a couple matches together on a team, it was time to expand their relationship off the soccer field.

As winter break was coming to an end, Eric wanted to take Katie to the city (something they don't often do). After seeing the ice skating line was approximately 3 hours long, Eric and Katie journeyed the wonderful ferris wheel of Navy Pier. As the two got cozy in their own cart on the ride, Eric turned Katie around as they reached the top. Eric got down on one knee and asked Katie to be his forever.

With the personality difference being rather apparent, Katie and Eric have a foundation that keeps the love fresh. Eric is a cool, calm, and collected individual, and Katie is the loud, extroverted, and dedicated one. Their personality traits manifested into a beautiful launching pad to navigate this crazy thing we call life.
