FAQs

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Guests are encouraged to do whatever makes them feel comfortable when it comes to gifts. We have created a small registry if you would like to purchase a gift. All gifts on the registry can be found directly on this website under the "registry" tab. Many gifts have an option of contributing a partial amount as well, if you don’t feel comfortable purchasing the item in its entirety. In addition to that, we are saving up money for a honeymoon and our first home. Any monetary donation that we can put towards those things would be greatly appreciated!

Question

Should I bring a mask?

Answer

Yes! Due to the ongoing pandemic, we want to remain safe while we celebrate. We request that guests bring a mask and wear it during the ceremony and reception. Masks may be removed when eating and drinking.

Question

How are you maintaining safety during this event with the ongoing pandemic?

Answer

Safety is our top priority! All guests and staff members of WatersEdge will be required to wear a mask during the entire day. Staff members undergo health screens daily and they also will be serving food to guests to minimize contact with food utensils and other surfaces. The bride and groom also request that physical touch (ie hugging, hand shaking) is avoided and/or kept to a minimum. Additionally, there are numerous bathrooms throughout the facility to allow guests to conveniently wash their hands. Hand sanitizer will be placed at each table as well. WatersEdge also has a great, spacious indoor and outdoor area for guests to spread out as they feel necessary. WatersEdge also recently installed a new state-of-the-art air filtration system that eliminates 99.4% of all airborne pathogens (including COVID-19)! Finally, for guests that are in the higher risk category, we are working to make special seating arrangements that allow them to be more spaced out, as an added measure of safety.

Question

I need a hotel! Where should I stay?

Answer

We reserved room blocks through Homewood Suites by Hilton and Best Western, both conveniently located a little over a mile down the road from the venue. Please visit the "Travel" tab on this website to find the link/code to book a room with our block.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:30 PM, so please plan to arrive around 4 PM to settle in and find your seat before the ceremony begins!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

When you search for your name on the "RSVP" tab, you will be able to see if you have been given a plus one. Due to the pandemic, we have not allowed everyone to bring a plus one. We hope you understand!

Question

Is there assigned seating?

Answer

Yes, we will have assigned seating during the reception. You will be assigned a table number and may sit at any seat at that specific table. You'll be able to find your table number and table location upon arrival at the wedding. There will not be assigned seating for the ceremony.
