Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is your airport of choice if you are flying in for the wedding! RDU is only 20 minutes from Downtown Raleigh. Ubers/Lyfts are widely available at the airport as well as rental cars.

This hotel is walking distance to the Church of the Good Shepherd and Vidrio. We’ve reserved a room block at The Casso in Raleigh for our guests. To make your reservation, simply click the link below and book your room directly. If you find that your desired room category is unavailable or you receive an error saying "your selected hotel has no available rooms", please don’t hesitate to call the hotel directly and mention the Hendrickson-Cockram block, and they will be happy to assist you in securing a room. Please note: rooms in the block must be booked by August 18, 2025 to ensure availability at our group rate.

The Umstead Hotel and Spa
While we don't have a room block or preferred rate at the Umstead, it's the nicest hotel in North Carolina and a personal favorite of the bride. One of the shuttles will drop off here after the reception before heading to the downtown hotels.

Wedding Transportation
September 20, 2025 3:45 pm - 11:00 pm
Shuttles will be provided for guests staying at The Umstead Hotel and The Casso Hotel to make travel to and from the ceremony and reception seamless. To the Ceremony: Shuttles will begin arriving at 3:30 PM at both hotels. The Umstead shuttle will depart at 3:45 PM The Casso shuttle will depart at 4:00 PM To the Reception: Following the ceremony, shuttles will transport guests directly to the reception venue. Return Shuttles: Return transportation to both hotels will begin after dinner. Final shuttles will depart at 11:15 PM, shortly after the reception concludes at 11:00 PM. We encourage out-of-town guests staying at either hotel to take advantage of the shuttle service for ease and convenience. Prefer to drive? There will be plenty of parking available at both the church and the reception venue.
