Katie and Dillon completed the same occupational therapy program in college - five years apart. Dillon finished school in 2016 and then found his way back to give a lecture to a class of therapy students in 2020 - a class in which Katie Barnett just happened to be. Shortly after that day in class, Katie reached out to Dillon for "school advice." So, they met up for their first study date, and the rest is history. Fast forward to 2021, and here we are, getting ready to celebrate their wedding!
