Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to Katie at 937-380-8480.
Question

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

No, but the farm is very ride share friendly. It is only a 7 minute drive away!

Question

What Should I Wear?

Answer

Garden party, please. Sundresses, floral prints, bright colors, light colored suits/shirts. Heck, whatever makes you feel happy! But we want you to feel comfortable and not melt. If those top buttons are too tight, or that tie is driving you nuts, let it all hang loose. It is summer after all.

Question

Can I smoke or Vape at your wedding?

Answer

The Farm has asked that if you smoke or vape, you must do so in their designated area outside that will be marked off. Otherwise, they will ask you to leave the property.

Question

If I choose to drive, may I park at the Farm?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking space at the Farm, however, if you are planning on enjoying some delicious libations with us, please use a ride share service!

Question

Will there be liquor at your wedding?

Answer

Sadly, no. No liquor of any kind is allowed at the Farm. We will be providing red and white wines along with local beers to quench your thirst and loosen up your dancing legs. Should you want a mixed drink before or after, we ask you partake at one of the many bars in the area before or after the wedding. Thank you!

Question

When Does the Fun End?

Answer

Music goes off around 10:30PM and guests are kindly asked to vacate the property by 11PM.

Question

Will Gracie Dog Be At Your Wedding?

Answer

Gracie Lou, meow meow, and Herbie Cat will be enjoying a staycation back at home in Winston. Gracie loves ducks, chickens, and whistle pigs A LOT. In consideration of the unsuspecting chickens, donkey, horses, and ducks on the property, Gracie will not be attending. We have been incident free since 2015. We plan to keep it that way. RIP whistle pig.

Question

Should we wear masks to your wedding?

Answer

Yes. Probably good to have one on-hand. We will have sanitizer everywhere. We will be outside for ceremony, dinner, and dancing. We will be doing our best to distance, but dancing can get, well, closer than 6 feet.
