The ceremony will take place in a Catholic Church. You would not look out of place wearing dressy-casual or cocktail attire, but there is no “real” dress code. We would prefer you not wear jeans.
Though we realize it may cause some inconvenience, with such big families and budget/space constraints, it is not feasible to accommodate guests’ children. If your child was not explicitly listed on the invite/RSVP, we are not accounting for him/her when we make seating charts or arrange for food. This wedding and reception are being planned and budgeted as an adults-only event.
We do not have a gift registry, as we do not have a need for household items or gift cards. If you would like to give a gift, cash or checks to help defray the costs of the wedding, honeymoon, and eventually a house are greatly appreciated.
If you are staying at a hotel in Effingham and would like to have transportation between the reception hall and your hotel at the end of the night for safe driving purposes, please reach out to Katie at 618-514-8502 or Derek at 618-553-4707. We will have a bus available to transport a limited number of guests if there is interest.
