Is there a fee or park sticker required for park entry?

Answer

No! The park is totally free to our guests!

What is the style of the wedding?

Answer

We are outside and treating it like a big picnic! Please be comfy and wear appropriate shoes! We are up on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan so it may be windy and chilly! Make sure to grab extra layers!

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We are not having any guests under the age of 16. We want our wedding to be a big party where everyone can relax and have fun without worrying about their kids.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes the whole wedding is in the same place at Upper Lake Park!

How late is the park available for the day?

Answer

The park requires all music to stop at 9pm and all people to be out by 10pm. The park must be cleaned up and returned to normal by 10pm as well.

Are we allowed to use phones or cameras during the ceremony?

Answer

NO please do NOT use your cameras or phones during the ceremony! David and I have paid a lot of money for our talented photographer and videographers! They are happy to share their footage with everyone once it is complete! Your phones and cameras get in the way of their work and it is very frustrating for us all! Thank you!

How far is the hotel from the venue?

Answer

Harborview Inn is approximately 5 minutes away from the Beer Garden in Upper Lake Park. It is located right on the lake with beautiful views!
