Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

Our wedding is adult only. The only children in attendance will be a part of the wedding party.

What is the wedding attire

Answer

The wedding attire is formal, black tie optional. Tuxes and long dresses are preferred but not required. The ceremony and reception will be held in the grass, be conscious of footwear... ladies you may want to rethink stilettos.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Valets will be available to park your car at Katie's Parents' House. However, due to the dark roads we encourage all guests to take a shuttle that have been arranged to pick guests up at the hotels.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at half past 6 in the evening. Please plan to be in the hotel lobby no later than 5:30p to ensure you don't miss the shuttles.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation has been arranged from both hotels. Please be in the hotel lobby by 5:30 to ensure you make the shuttle. Shuttles will be departing promptly at 5:45. Shuttles will also be available to transport guests back to hotels. Shuttles will leave the reception starting at 10pm on the hour.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Check out the ‘accommodations’ tab for more information regarding hotels. A block of rooms have been reserved at Hilton Columbus at Easton, most of the Schaeflein/McMahon family will be staying there. A block of rooms have also been reserved at the Graduate where the wedding party will be staying.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We hope you will join us Friday evening at a welcome party at Hilton Columbus at Easton from 7:30p to 9:30p. Please be sure to RSVP under the RSVP tab by July 12th. For our out of town guests, please stop by a Farewell brunch at the Hilton Columbus at Easton on Sunday from 9:30a-11:30a!
