Let's dance in the desert!

To tell you the truth, Katie and Dakota first met one rumor-inspiring New Years eve in highschool. She was a Junior, he was a Freshman.... it was all very embarrassing (for Katie ;) ). Flash forward 14 years and the COVID fates (and their meddling friend Timmy) would have them meet again. In March 2020, Katie was visiting the Utah to get her new UK work visa put in her passport. When London shutdown and her flights were cancelled, she and her bridesmaid Julia decided to take advantage and work-from-home at Timmy's house in Moab for a long weekend. Little did the girls know, but Timmy had also invited Dakota and Hayden. It only took a couple games of beer pong games to get over the initial awkward reintroduction and for the sparks to start flying. The Moab family spent the next two weeks quarantined in Moab and the rest is history. Katie spent the next 9 weeks 'stuck' in Utah and spent most everyday with Dakota, and when she left to go back to London the couple decided to make long distance work.
