Question

What about a rain plan?

Answer

We'll have umbrellas stashed for the wedding party so we can take cute outside pictures before the ceremony. The ceremony will be moved inside and everyone will sit at their reception table just a little bit early!

Question

Are those real flowers?

Answer

Nope :) In a totally on brand fashion, we had our flowers made out of pages of our favorite novels! Katie's and the Bridesmaid's bouquets are stuffed with Peter Pan and Craig's and the Groomsmen and the Dad's and the Usher's boutonnières are Lord of the Rings! You can see the characters on the petals and it's such a delight!

Can we take the centerpieces home?

Answer

We have been fortunate enough to receive donations for some of the pieces in our decorations. This means that we will have to return them after our event. Please help us clean up by stacking like things together or asking a Bridesmaid at the end of the night what they need help with, but please also leave everything at the venue (other than your favors, of course!) <3

What if it isn't safe to fly in because of the pandemic?

Answer

If you do not feel comfortable flying, we totally 100% understand! We are with you and we feel it too. We are so thankful that you're thinking of us and we will miss you being there to celebrate with us, but we'd prefer you to stay as safe as possible. :) We'll catch up after and once it's safe to do so!

What if the pandemic affects the venue of the ceremony/reception?

Answer

We are carefully monitoring the status of COVID-19 in our area and the venue's area. We are hoping that we will feel safe to get married with everyone in attendance as originally planned by the time the wedding rolls around. When it gets closer, we may have to make some tough decisions, and at that point, we'll make individual contacts with each guest. Our backup plan for now is to have a small ceremony with only in town family and invite guests to a drive by reception instead. If that is not possible either, we will continue to work with the venue and our family and guests to reimagine our special day in the safest way possible!
