Rewind to July 2021 - the night of the Garth Brooks concert at Nissan Stadium. Cowden had tickets to the show, and Katie made a last-minute decision to go to the concert and join some friends downtown. Before the concert, a group of mutual friends were grabbing drinks at Acme Feed & Seed when Christin texted Katie “I met your husband.” After making a few classic Broadway pit stops along the way, Katie finally made it to Acme… only to find out Cowden had already left for the concert. But Nashville had other plans. Within the hour, a wild thunderstorm rolled in, the concert was cancelled, and Cowden made his way back to the Acme rooftop. Somewhere between the rain, the rooftop drinks, and a little country music fate, the two finally met. The rest is history… and, as Garth would say, the thunder rolls.
