This camp has NO cell service as well as no internet!!!!! Just like if you were truly camping.
There are 2 or 3 hotels in Baker. Baker is 40 miles away. Camp Needmore has 6 Cabins that have roughly 20 (twin size) beds each.
We have booked Camp Needmore from June 1st through June 5th. you are welcome to come and go as you would like.
For the day of the wedding we will be doing a BBQ dinner.
No you do not. Families with small children will have first choice of a cabin that they can all stay in. Please let me know if you are bringing a RV as there are only 10 spots
We will not be providing food for everyone other than for the reception dinner. However please bring food for everyone to share (potluck style). There is an industrial size kitchen with lots of space to store and make food.
Ekalaka is a small town of 450 people, there is not much here!! There is a grocery store with bare minimum item, such as. Bread, small meat selection, vegies, fruit, soda, beer and chips. There 3 restaurants the Dawg House, the Cantina, and The Wagon Wheel. In Ekalaka there are 2 gas pumps. Fruits is open M-F 7-5 Sat 8-2 this is more of a parts store then a convenient store. There is also a set of pumps that take only card in town as well.
Camp Need more is 4.8 miles south of Ekalaka, down highway 323. Then you will turn right at the Custer national forest where there is a big Camp Needmore metal arch. we will also mark this with purple and yellow balloons. From there you will follow a dirt road for 2 miles tell you come upon the only buildings around. Please park responsibly.
