How did Katie & Colin meet?

Answer

We matched on Bumble in the summer of 2021, and had our first date at Spyhouse Coffee on July 4th. The holiday has henceforth been known as "Dependence Day."

Okay, but what's the rest of the story?

Answer

Colin & Katie took a trip to the UK in May 2025, where we went on a castle tour around Wales. In a turret of Castell Caernarfon, Colin got on one knee with a Ring Pop (that Katie had given him years ago) displayed in a diamond-shaped case (that Colin got from work). Katie lovingly said, "Sure."

Can I go downstairs and get lit at Indeed Brewing?

Answer

Technically, yes, you can! But we'll have their famous Pistachio Cream Ale upstairs, and you'll break our little hearts if you leave. Indeed will be open for another hour after our celebration ends, so head down there after our bar closes!

Who are all these people? Why don't I know anyone here?

Answer

Please stop crashing our wedding. Take your midnight snack and go.

Answer

While we love all your kids, we've chosen to make this an adults-only celebration, and we encourage you to think of this as a date night to let loose!

Answer

We encourage cocktail attire, LBDs, jackets & slacks, stylish jumpsuits, etc. Whatever makes your bad self feel confident (but isn't white 👀).

It's been a really tough year for Minneapolis & the Twin Cities metro. If you have room in your budget, we'd really appreciate you either making a donation in lieu of or in addition to a gift. Local organizations are still working every day to help our neighbors put food on the table, pay rent, and pay legal fees after being illegally detained. Feel free to ask either of us where to donate and we can give you a list of tons of places to consider.
