Denver Botanic Gardens
Beautiful and outdoors with flora from around the world. A favorite of ours for Christmas lights in the winter, but amazingly colorful with autumn leaves in October!
Garden of the Gods
A gorgeous park in Colorado Springs. A little farther away than other recommended activities but the wild red rock features are worth the trip!
Local Craft Breweries
They are all over the place and can be found by the hundreds with a quick Google search. Some of our most frequented include Breckenridge Brewery, Wild Sky, Lone Tree Brewing Company, and Resolute Brewing Company. If you like beer, Colorado has you covered!
Lookout Mountain Park
Beautiful to drive or hike around with scenic views of downtown Denver, Golden, and the front range of the Rockies.
Union Station
A fun downtown hub set in the historic (but still active) train station
Denver Art Museum
Denver's major art museum!
Roxborough State Park
Beautiful scenery just a short drive to the south. Great hiking and beautiful rock formations
Chatfield Farms Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch
A fun seasonal activity. Part of Denver Botanic Gardens
Local Hikes
There are tons of local areas to hike or walk. Some good ones include, Deer Creek Canyon, Mt. Falcon Park, Eagles View Loop, The Bluffs in Lone Tree, and many more.
Golden
A beautiful Colorado city set between massive mesas. Home to the Coors brewery (they have tours and tastings).
