Governor Cuomo has announced a loosening of restrictions on weddings starting March 15. It is currently unclear all that that will entail, but we are in contact with the local health department and will share updates as we receive them. Here's what we do know: We have to limit our in-person guest list. All guests should wear masks when social distancing isn't possible. Because our venue is public, we have a smaller in-person guest list, and are taking other precautions, guest are not required to have proof of a negative COVID test. But we request that if you have any chance of having been in contact with a positive case, please get tested before coming. As always, if you feel sick, please stay home and join us on the live stream. We will have the venue set up for social distancing as much as possible. If you are not comfortable with attending in person, we completely understand, but would still like to share the day with you. We will have a virtual option set up and the link will be shared here on our website.
During the ceremony, we request that your phones/tablets/cameras/etc stay off and away. We have hired a wonderful photographer and promise to share photos when we receive them from her. If you'd like to take a photo with us at the reception, then we would be more than happy to take a selfie with you!
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you in order to abide by current COVID-19 guidelines.
We love your kids—we really do. But with COVID restrictions, we do need to limit the number of guests, so kids are not invited. Plus, we want our wedding to be your day off so you can fully enjoy your time with us!
Our dress code is probably best described as tie optional. For the guys, nice slacks and button downs are acceptable, ties and jackets are optional. Sundresses are great for the ladies. Everything will be inside, but weather permitting we'd like to be able to have some games on the lawn for the reception, so heels are at your discretion.
