Do I need a car in Boston?

Answer

Taking the subway (called "the T") around Boston is the best option to get most places. Subway stations and the trains themselves are equipped for contactless payment to pay fares (https://www.mbta.com/schedules/subway). Ubers and Lyfts are also readily available in the city.
