We’re getting married!!

Katie and Christian met junior year of college as staff members at a retreat for their church, St. Thomas Aquinas at Purdue University. They quickly realized that they actually lived two doors down from each other in an all female dorm (Christian was placed there for his job as a Residence Assistant)! After many walks to Triple XXX (Christian's favorite restaurant) and several other similar encounters, Katie and Christian decided to start dating on January 19, 2020. Shortly afterwards, the COVID pandemic hit and Katie and Christian were doing long distance for over a year. Finally, Katie decided it was best to be closer to Christian and moved to Knoxville, TN, which she soon after fell in love with! Christian proposed to Katie on 9/5/2021 after a Purdue football win!
