Thanks to the impressive matchmaking skills of Trish Murphy (mother of the bride) and Joe Valvano (uncle of the groom), Chris and Katie were set up on a blind date shortly after Christmas time in 2017. We both went into the evening with the intention of doing a favor for both family members but ended up spending several hours at the Rose Bar in the Gramercy Hotel. Following that date, Chris strategically set up their 2nd date at LAVO-understanding Katie's favorite food is meatballs and they are legendary at this restaurant.....5 years later after many amazing trips and three wonderful apartments in NYC, we are so happy to celebrate our big day with all of you!
