Carmel Beach

17 Mile Drive

Scenic 17-Mile Drive in Picturesque Pebble Beach. (Admission to 17-Mile Drive is $10.75 per vehicle.) Follow 17-Mile Drive’s red-dotted line to arrive at an enchanting world full of dramatic coastal cliffs, snow-white beaches, mystical forests, and iconic golf courses. Discover one of the most scenic drives in the world!

Carmel Mission Basilica Museum

This is our ceremony venue, but you may be interested in touring the mission and museum more thoroughly another time during your stay! This architectural and cultural gem is one of the most authentically restored of the chain of 21 California Missions, originally built in 1770 and brought back to its original glory in the 1940s. (Docent group or self-guided tours available. Admission to the grounds and mission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors, $5 for children, and children under 6 are admitted for free. The Museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.)

We LOVE this restaurant. Romance abounds at this French & Italian restaurant with an outdoor patio once frequented by Van Gogh. Ask to be seated on the back patio!

La Bicyclette Restaurant

We love this restaurant! Great for breakfast (Fri-Sun), lunch, or dinner in Carmel-by-the-Sea. La Bicyclette features European Country Cuisine, hand-crafted using local ingredients and old-world artistry.

Excellent restaurant connected to The Pine Inn and across the street from Monte Verde Inn. We had a lovely dinner here on the rooftop after deciding to have our wedding in Carmel!

Great wine and food in Carmel Valley! Wine Garden is open - a perfect outdoor setting to enjoy lunch or dinner. They often have live music in the garden as well! (Reservations are required for all guests of the Wine Garden.)
