FAQs

Question

Am I invited to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is for immediate family and wedding party only. All guests are invited to the welcome party, cocktail boat cruise, and reception!

Question

How do I know which boat I am on for cocktail hour?

Answer

Please look for our wedding planner at the fountain directly outside of the Riviera. She will direct you to the correct dock and boat. There are two boats for our group, the Lady of the Lake and the Duchess.

Question

Are you providing transportation?

Answer

No, we are not. All events on Friday and Saturday are within walking distance from the recommended hotels, except for the Fairfield Inn. Please be aware of this if booking a vacation rental property. Ubers are generally available but give yourself extra time if utilizing. There is no parking at the reception venue.

Question

Is there parking at the weekend's venues?

Answer

Welcome Party | Magpies has limited parking available but is walking distance from the recommended hotels. Wedding | The boat docks and venue DO NOT have parking available. Please plan on walking or ubering.

Question

When should I book my lodging?

Answer

As soon as you can and before you receive the wedding invitation. Lake Geneva is very busy during the summer months, and we have limited room blocks available. Any unused rooms will be released to the public in April 2026, but we expect them to fill before then.

Question

Are my kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

In general, no, this is a kid-free wedding. Thank you for understanding. There are a few exceptions for our family. The bride or groom will let you know directly, and it will be clear on your invitation.

Question

What is the wedding's dress code?

Answer

Welcome Party | Cocktail Attire Wedding | Black Tie For ladies, this means a full-length dress or formal jumpsuit. For men, we prefer you wear a tuxedo, but a dark suit (black, navy) with a bow tie or tie would also fit the dress code.
