Our Story

2013. Camren invited Katie over to go to Pulaski Polka Days with his family. Katie had just received her drivers licence and Cam's house was the first place she drove as an independent driver.

2013. Katie had never been to a Packer game at Lambeau Field, despite living in Green Bay her whole life, so Camren invited her to go to a pre-season game.

2013. A few days after the Packer Game, Katie invited Cam's family up to Door County for a fun day on the water. We became an "official" couple on 08.18.2013.

2013. Camren grew up with a pool, but didn't have much experience swimming in water deeper than he could stand. We did our best to find a life jacket big enough and went water skiing & tubing.

2013. We were part of our high school band program and spent a lot of time together marching in parades, performing at jazz festivals, and participating in other music events.

2013. Katie came to every High School football game rooting for #74! "Best girlfriend ever!" -direct quote by Camren ;)

2014. This was our first ski trip to Ski Brule with Peace Lutheran Church. Katie taught Camren how to snowboard and it was a blast!

2014. Mackinac Island Lilac Festival Parade. Cam played Bari Sax and Katie was Co-Color Guard Captain in the Pulaski marching band.

2013. Katie and I went to 2 homecoming dances and 2 snowball dances over the course of 2 years. Katie wore the same dress for every school dance.

2014. Bought a new dress for prom! Don't worry, I still have the old dress :)

2014. Camren graduated high school and went to Concordia University of Wisconsin to pursue a degree in Medical Science. He switched to Exercise Physiology his sophomore year.

2014. Cam played football for the JV and Varsity teams at CUW. Katie, "Still the best girlfriend ever", came to watch as many games as she could.

2014. Cam came back from college and marched in a halftime field show at the Packers vs. Patriots game November, 2014. Didn't get to watch the game, but saw many players up close!

2015. Katie graduated from high school and headed to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point to pursue a degree in Music Education.

2018-This picture was taken after Katie’s last performance with the UWSP orchestra before she student taught in Pulaski, Wi and Slinger, Wi.

2018. Camren is a big fisherman. He mainly fishes for weeds, rocks, and trees, but occasionally catches a fish or two.

2018. Cam graduated from Concordia with a degree in Exercise Physiology. He now does in-home personal training sessions and is in his 2nd year as an apprentice to become a journeyman electrician.

2018. Six years later Katie got Packer tickets for Camren's birthday! It was the first regular season game she had ever been to and we got front row seats! The Packers lost 0-6 against the Ravens :(

2018. Katie and Cam got Padi certified over winter break and look forward to being eachothers dive buddy in the years to come.

2019. Our Peace Lutheran Church Ski trip! After many years of snowboarding, Camren taught Katie how to ski.

2019. Katie graduated from UWSP with degrees in general and instrumental music education. She taught general music at a Spanish Immersion El. School in MN and now teaches music in Kaukauna, WI.

2019. We lived in Roseville, MN for a year because of Cam's work. After 6 years, our long distance relationship was finally over!

2019. Welcome home Atlas! He is a Golden Retriever with a HUGE personality. We surprised both our families with him when we came home for Christmas.

2020. We moved home once Covid hit and bought a pop-up camper. We have been enjoying camping during the summer months. Weekends spent in the woods are Atlas’s favorite!

2020. Camren won “Best shooter” in his clay shooting league at Little Creek in Abrams, WI. Katie won “tried her best” in her own mind. Cam also bartends there once a month.

2020. Bought a house in the DePere area with 1.5 acres. It was important to have a big yard for Atlas to play in!

2020. This was taken right after Cam got down on his knee and I said “I do” at Cave Point County Park in Door County, WI.

2020. Visited the spot Cam proposed and had to do re-enactment photos since we didn’t have a photographer the first time.

2020. This is definitely how Katie reacted the first time ;)

2021. We are super excited to celebrate our special day with you! Wear your dancing shoes and get ready to party!
