Caleb and Katie had been together for a little over 2 years. Their anniversary is March 7, but on the 7th of every month, they use it as an excuse to have a date night. Caleb planned for June 7th to go on a walk to the Overlook at Iroquois Park and then go get dinner together after. Caleb and Katie had done this before during their first summer together after they started dating. They walked and talked all the way up to the Overlook. Katie ironically talked to Caleb about how she would know when he would propose, and he would not be able to surprise her. When they reached the top, they sat to enjoy the view. Caleb couldn’t sit still and got up to move around. While Katie was talking to him, he pulled the ring out of his pocket and asked Katie to marry him. They cannot wait to spend forever together.
