How We Met

We swiped right!

After meeting on Tinder January 30th and chatting for a bit Katie finally had to ask Bryan if they were going to go on a date or just keep texting, which he replied with "I'm not looking for a pen pal". They agreed to meet on February 15th at 101 Beer Kitchen. While texting on Sunday February 13th, Katie was waiting at Rusty Bucket for her daughter's Girl Scout meeting to end, she gets a surprise "Order me a Fat Tire, I'm on my way" text from Bryan. They have always referred to this as their half date. Once they said their good byes on that Sunday and the date was still on for Tuesday, they both thought this might be something special.

The Proposal

7.23.23

Our first ever hike together was at Antrum in Worthington. There is a place where you can hop off the trail and get close to the water. We have called it our special place since that day from our first hike. On this day Bryan asked if I wanted to go hiking around 12. We get to our spot and I ask Bryan if he has brought his small fishing pole, which he said yes. As he is rummaging around in his hiking bag, I am walking around looking at the water he called me over to look at something he said was over by him in the water, he pulled out the ring while down on one knee. I started crying and he asked me to be his forever adventure partner, which I immediately said Yes to!
