How we met is also a story of how we should have met earlier. Bryan had moved to Atlanta to work for Accenture, and Katie's parents were friends with the parents of his roommate, Adam. They all were supposed to meet when first touring apartments, at a bar mitzvah, and at other community events. When they matched on a dating app in June of 2017, Beth immediately identified Bryan, and Adam recognized Katie. For their first date, Katie came from playing a doubles tennis tournament with Molly and met Bryan for sushi. Her first question was "so are you close to your family?" And that has set the tone ever since :) After a great first date, they wouldn't see each other for almost a month, as Katie and Bryan both were out of town. Messaging each other non-stop, their families noticed that Bryan was "smitten" and Katie "couldn't look at her phone without smiling."
