After 5 years of dating, Katie and Brian got engaged while living in Texas. Brian bought a ring in February of 2021 and was so excited to give the ring to Katie but knew he had to wait for the perfect moment. There were several nights that Brian had to care for Katie who was so upset that she was seeing other people get engaged and she didn’t think that Brian had even gone and looked at rings. Little did she know that Brian was hiding the ring in a rifle case in their closet for several months. Around April of 2021, Brian and Katie started looking for houses to buy. What Katie didn’t know is that Brian had written a letter secretly to sellers telling them of our story and that his plan was to propose to Katie and get her a home. After several failed attempts at trying to find a house, they finally found the perfect home in Liberty Hill, TX and got it. Fast forward to June of 2021, Brian had set up to have some family come down to visit; however, Katie did not know that this was his plan to propose to her. Come that weekend, Brian and Katie brought our family to see the home. Brian’s mom suggested they take a picture in front of their new home and when they did, Brian asked Katie to marry him, which of course she said yes.
