Katie and I met in the Moose Jaw Children’s choir when we were 5 but our friendship really bloomed at the end of high school - with a summer spent playing grounders and hitting up the beach whenever we weren’t working. As we grew older our mutual love for analyzing group dynamics, systems and people bonded us together. Katie is one of the most intelligent, insightful, creative and hard working people I know, and I am honoured to be standing next to her on this beautiful day.

Hi I'm Kév, I met Brandon in August 2021 at Royal University Hospital Medicine. One slow night shift, I asked him to play mortal kombat on nintendo with me during our break. As two strong sexy male nurses, we quickly found compatible humour and shared common interests outside of work. Paddleboarding, biking, skiing/snowboarding, pickleball, video games etc. Brandon was even able to vouch for me to my future wife Olivia whom he has known since nursing school! Brandon has made it feel like I have known him for my whole life. I am honoured to consider him my best friend and to be his best man on his special day with Katie.

We’ve weathered jobs, moves, and countless adventures together, and no matter what life throws our way we stay inseparable. I’m so happy and lucky to go through life with her, and beyond excited to celebrate this next chapter with Brandon.

Hi I’m Ryan! I’m Brandon’s brother. The very first time I met Katie, I wore my pants super hiked up past my belly and Katie thought I was special… One of my favourite memories I have with brandon was when we went to Disney land together in Hong Kong… one of the best days of my life. I remember we were running through the crowd to go see the parade. I had so much fun and going on the rides and eating over priced food. Good times!

My name is Jess and I was lucky to have met Katie in Nursing school where we quickly became close friends. We got even more close when I was looking for a roommate. Katie was also looking for a place to live and I found out she was an Aquarius. Naturally, that pairs well with a Gemini and we became roommates. Based on our 14 year friendship I haven’t been wrong about our pairing yet 😉 All jokes aside, we’ve been there for each other and have shared many fond memories as we’ve grown up together in our adult years. It’s my honor to stand beside her on her wedding day. Hearing of their adventures travelling around the world or scaling mountains together, it’s clear there’s nothing these two can’t take on. I’m delighted to witness the union of Katie and Brandon and the love they share as they embark on their biggest adventure yet!

Hey there, my name is Drayson, and I had the pleasure of meeting Brando through work—he actually had the misfortune of orienting me on my very first shift as a new grad on a busy unit in 2021… yikes. For some reason, he didn’t avoid me after that, which I’m still grateful for. I think our friendship really took off when we went on a last-minute trip to Big White. Brando had serious FOMO with our other friends already heading out there, so he booked an Airbnb and needed people to help fill it. What started as a spontaneous, mutually beneficial trip turned into one I’ll never forget—and somewhere in that chaos, our “work buddy” status quietly turned into something a lot more solid. Now Katie and Brando live just down the block, and I see them anywhere from one to seven times a week. I couldn’t be happier for them. Anna and I are very happy to have them in our life.

From surviving exams and long clinical days to endless laughs, our friendship has been through it all. When we weren’t being responsible adults, you could find us enjoying a good glass of wine & hitting the dance floor. Now, we opt for having a classic girls’ night. Katie is truly one of the most genuine, fun, and supportive people I know, and I feel so lucky to stand by her side on such a special day. My favorite memory with Brandon is being able to join him on a trip to Hong Kong to meet some of his relatives and experience a place that he already had fond memories of.

Hiya, I’m Morgan, and I’ve had the privilege of knowing Katie for over 15 years as my fiancée is her older brother Jon. Over the years, Katie has become so much more than family to me, she’s truly the sister I never had. We’ve shared so many memories together, from family trips and holidays to the quieter moments of just being there for each other when life felt heavy. She has stood by me in the same way I’ve stood by her, and that kind of bond is something I will always cherish. Katie is one of the most kind, selfless, and resilient people I know. As a nurse who has recently earned her Master’s degree, she gives so much of herself to others every single day. I’ve seen her strength through some of her hardest moments, which makes it all the more meaningful to now see her so genuinely happy and deeply loved. Watching her find her person and step into this new chapter fills me with so much emotion. She deserves a lifetime of happiness, and I couldn’t be more grateful to stand beside her as she begins this beautiful new journey.

Oh jeeze! I’ve known Brandon forever I can't even remember how we met. I feel it had to be through Adam and Jaylen at recess in kindergarten but I remember more from grade 1 on… because Brandon started in french immersion right? So Jaylen or Adam in his class would have introduced us for sure. Honestly I always always remember just staying up all night tormenting Brandon on Halo by abandoning him on little rock islands then flying above it so he would respawn trapped. We beat Halo together so much and would always be pretending to sleep when his mom came in but, not a shot she believed that.
