We met 7 years ago when we were both in our dear friends’ wedding, Chuck and Ashley Willson (who will be reffered to as Woj from here on out). From that day we went our separate ways, just running into each other at gatherings at the Willson’s. Such is life. Fast forward a few years and life had its funny way of bringing us closer together. Well if destiny wasn’t going to do it , the Willson’s sure would! For years they plotted and planned as to how they would get us together. Woj would casually mention Bill when on a run with Katie and Chuck would tell Bill we’d make a great match. They’d invite us to grab a drink or for a fire at their house. Never once did it cross our minds that these were potential double dates. Bill “didn’t think he was Katie’s type” and it went on this way for a few years. Until one night when us 4 had a fire at the Willson’s. Bill was helping Chuck stack wood and build the fire. The fire light caught Bill in just the right way and it dawned on Katie that not only was Bill a really nice guy but he was pretty handsome too! Katie mentioned this to Woj and a week later Bill had her phone number. The rest is history! Thanks to the Willson’s for finally getting through to us and shout out to Bill for building that fire!
