What is the best way to reach you if I have additional questions?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, dressy casual. No jeans, shorts, or t-shirts. Slacks and a button down with a tie or a suit, a nice dress, or pant suit are nice options.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are several options, close to downtown there is an Aloft , an AC Hotel, The historic Hotel Congress, and a little further a Four Points Sheraton, a Doubletree and many other options. There are also many Airbnb options all around the Tucson area as well.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided, if you are traveling from out of town we suggest either getting a rental car or ubering.

What airport do I fly into if traveling from out of state?

Answer

You have two options: Tucson International Airport & Phoenix Sky Harbor. Tucson International Airport is the closer option as the wedding will take place in Tucson. Phoenix Sky Harbor is an additional option but if flying into this airport you will have about a 2 hour drive down to Tucson.

How do we show proof of a negative covid test?

Answer

To show proof of a negative covid test, please attach a picture of the results and send it to us via our wedding email prior to the wedding day.

Will the ceremony & reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will take place outdoor at Z Mansion in downtown Tucson, AZ. We do suggest bringing a light jacket/sweater in case it gets a little chilly in the evening.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony we will do a few group photos with everyone in the front of the mansion and after the group photo hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4pm, we suggest showing up 30-45 minutes before the ceremony to find a seat and mingle with other guests.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome, but we do ask that if little ones get loud or fussy an adult take them inside until they have settled down.

When is the RSVP deadline? How do we RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 20th on this Wedding Website. Please see the tab for RSVP.

Will there be gluten free/vegetarian/vegan options?

Answer

Our chefs are happy to accommodate any of these dietary restrictions/preferences. At the time of RSVP you will be asked for dietary restrictions/preferences please add them at that time so that we can prepare accordingly.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtags #katiefoundabetohalf & #forbetoorforworse so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! But just remember, the wedding will be heavily photographed :)

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

We are asking that everyone have a negative covid test 24-72 hours before the wedding. We will also have sanitation stations and masks available. The wedding & reception will take place outdoors, but we do suggest utilizing a mask if that would make you feel more safe/comfortable.

The wedding and reception are at Z Mansion in downtown Tucson. The address is 288 N Church Ave Tucson, AZ 85701

Where and when should I get my covid test?

Answer

Based on our personal experience we suggest Walgreens for covid test as it is self administered in the pharmacy drive through. If going this route we suggest taking the test a few days in advance of the wedding or first group event you will be attending to allow time for the results as results can take 24+ hours to come through via email. There is an at home test option that we have had groups use at our work before called On-go this is an option that gives results in 10 minutes. How do I update my rsvp?

Now that we are two weeks out if you need to make any changes to your rsvp please send us an email at becomingrivas2020@gmail.com

Question

If we order you a gift that is not on your registry should we bring it to the wedding?

Answer

Yes, any gifts that were bought separately from the registry can be brought to the wedding and placed on the gift table. You can also have any items shipped to our home, just send us an email for the address! However, please be mindful in remembering that we no longer live in Arizona and any gifts given on the day of will have to travel back to California with us and the dogs so space will be limited.
