Please find below our recommended lodging for the weekend. Long Beach is a small beachfront city with minimal hotel options, especially on Labor Day Weekend. For your connivence, please try to book accommodations as soon as possible. The Allergria Hotel is located directly on the Long Beach boardwalk. We highly recommend guests stay here due to its close proximity to the beach and all weekend activities.

Flight

JFK or LGA

For those of our guests flying into New York for the weekend, JFK is the closest airport (about 30 minute ride to Long Beach) , with LGA as a close second (about 45 minute ride to Long Beach). Please allow a bit of extra time due to the holiday weekend.

Travel Note

For Guests Traveling from New Jersey...

There are two options for traveling to Long Island from New Jersey: Driving - The drive to Long Beach, NY typically takes between 2-2.5 hours. However, because of the holiday weekend, there can be heavy traffic surrounding the city and into Long Island. For this reason, we recommend anyone driving to try to leave early in the morning to avoid congestion. Train - If you want to avoid potential traffic, there is an option to take the train directly to Long Beach. From Metro Park, the NJ Transit takes about 50 minutes to Penn Station NY. From there, you can take the LIRR directly to the Long Beach Train station (~55 minutes). The Allegria hotel is an 8 minute walk from the station.
